Semiconductor industry has been blooming up recently years in Taiwan but local testing equipment market has been dominated by expensive units usually imported from U.S. and Japan. HI-LO systems, majoring in design and producing cost effective equipment, has been grown up in this niche market and trying its best to help customers to be competitive. HI-LO Systems set up its testing plant in Hsinchu on 2005, nearly 100 units of various in-house testers have been installed, landed 3,000 meter squares by then and increasingly year after year. To provide highly integrated back-end testing service to local customers, DUT covering memory, logic and mixed-signal devices and packaging including taping & reeling, lead scanning, trimming as well as aging test service also could be provided perfectly as one stop shopping.

After Hsinchu core testing plant, new testing plants in Shenzhen and Shanghai has been established one after another last year. Both have been certified by ISO9001 and processing network ERP has been setup at the same time. 150 more HI-LO engineering employee distributed worldwide, including H/W, S/W, service team, are able to customize testing service according to local customer’s request in order to ensure the quality of testing service and improve time to market.

In coordination with internationalizing strategy of Taiwan back-end industry, HI-LO is able to offer equipments to resident in any test floor customer assigned to any city worldwide to provide promptly high quality and real time testing service. Currently installed base covering Thailand, Philippines and Shenzhen, Suzhou, Shanghai cities and received grateful recommendation. This business have been part of major revenue of HI-LO Systems.
